Good News for Travellers:No Need PCR Test from These Countries!

As of April 1, 2023, air passengers traveling directly between the Chinese mainland and Taiwan will be subject to less stringent COVID-19 testing rules.
This announcement was made by Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council.
These changes represent a positive step forward in the fight against COVID-19. Overall, International flights in April 2023 operated by main Chinese airlines have increased.
Under the new rules,
passengers will only need to show negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test results from within the previous 24 hours, instead of negative PCR test results obtained within 48 hours prior to departure.
This change is expected to make travel easier and more convenient for passengers.
Antigen Rapid Test (ART, including ART home testing kit) result is accepted for air passengers flying directly from the countries listed below to China instead of PCR testaccoding to the latest notice of Chinese embassies in THESE countries.
